Dr. Weinstein was born in Toronto, Canada and raised in Houston, Texas. After traveling to California and New York for medical training, Dr. Weinstein settled in Houston to complete his Internal Medicine training at The University of Texas – Houston where he was named Chief Medical Resident.
Dr Weinstein’s medical practice began in academics, as a Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine and Staff Physician in Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas – Houston. He then proudly joined his father in private practice while still making time to teach medical students and residents at UT Houston and Baylor.
Dr. Weinstein’s clinical interests are focused on using food as medicine and the direct and immediate connection between what we eat and how healthy we are.
